2 Days Before Surgery!

Has anyone had a meal 2days before surgery, if so what happened?

I think if I did that, I would go to the store and get some Miralax and drink that then drink tons of Gatorade so I wouldn't be dehydrated before going into surgery. Might put your mind at ease. That's what you do the day before a colonoscopy. chop chop! get to the store! LOL

I was able to eat up until today when I started a clear liquid diet. My surgery is tomorrow. I’ve been on a liver shrinking diet for two weeks so I’ve been eating lightly anyway. Today I had to do a colon cleanse, oh so pleasant. Do you have to do that?

I don't think I do for this surgery but I did for a colonoscopy. It's like giving yourself an upset stomach on purpose.
