I bought lots of 10 calorie jellies (or do you call them Jello? ) to eat during the immediate post op phase, but I've got loads left over, because I'm finding them unbearably sweet. I didn't initially believe what was said about tastes changing post op, but that has actually been my experience. I'm even finding grapes a little too sweet.

I take a flavoured Protein Shake to work for lunch, but that's just for convenience and to get enough Protein down my neck. I don't really enjoy the flavour. The rest of the time I eat proper food. I can even manage a tiny portion of steak now! 😃

What a great idea. I too donated my stuff to my cousin who just had surgery. I was happy to see it all go.

Sent from my LGMS210 using BariatricPal mobile app

My aunt is now wanting to get the surgery done. Using my surgeon too :D! Told her I would give it all to her. Great products just didn't work for me.

I'd certainly try that - if I knew what cool whip was! 😉

Not too much of a loss, it is made of hydrogenated coconut oil and gives me GERD,every time. Give me natural whipped cream, well perhaps not, I need nothing to raise my weight.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
