Hey All! I just signed up today after viewing the topics for about a week. I just had my sleeve surgery Tuesday (9/4). I have had several surgeries in the past (C sections, gallbladder, hysterectomy...) so the pain and recovery is expected. I am just surprised at the difficultly I’m having with trying to drink liquids. But I am looking forward to the journey ahead.

Drinking will get easier as the swelling in your throat/stomach subsides. Right now, the water has to trickle through very small openings, but that will get better day by day. Best of luck on your journey!

Welcome and Congrats on your surgery. New things (post surgery new) you try may be a bit tough at first. It's going to all be a new experience but in time will you get used to it and it will get easier.
