I am shocked to see that there isn't a single post regarding Trulance with the number of people that suffer from Constipation after WLS. Please sound off here if you have any experience with constipation and taking Trulance. After taking Linzess for three weeks, I started gaining weight and there was inflammation found in my throat...I was subsequently diagnosed with hypothyroidism and prescribed Levothyroxine 50mcg. The Trulance goes to work within 2 hours of taking it, but causes me some pretty severe diarrhea. I take my Levothyroxine first thing in the morning and my Trulance when I get home from work. Has anyone here had any success with Trulance, and if so, were you able to get off of it? Did your GI return to normal or were you still constipated after stopping Trulance (if that's what you did)? Thanks!

Have you IBS-D girls had any luck with this, or does it only make things worse to live with?

I just started Linzess this morning. So how much weight gain did you experience? He told me yesterday it would not cause weight gain? :( *sobbing*

Sorry about your thyroid going out. Do you think it could be coincidental? That you gained cuz of hypothyroid issues rather than the Linzess?

I don't have any experience with the Trulance. Wish I could give feedback.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
