Post ops constant pain in food pipe

Guys i did my sleeve surgery yesterday and having constant pain in my food pipe. Taking medicine is really pain. Doc tlld me not to crush but make pieces even though it is very painful.

Any help is much appreciated..

    It'll go away, they intubate when you are put under, so that pain in your throat is more than likely from that. It will go away, it just takes a little time depending on how damaged your esophagus is, I had a sore throat for 3 days and a sore on my lip from where the tube was rubbing for almost 2 weeks.
