Hi all from down under. Doing well here. Left side is still niggling at me, but has eased considerably. Still not getting all my fluids in. Handling the food. Moving onto soft foods today. Losing weight, at least .5kg a day, but told that it should only be 1kg a week. So hope I am not losing muscle as well. It is meant to be a slow progress. Stalled for 3 days on 100kg, when I so wanted to get below. Now below at 97.6kgs. My only problem is I haven’t done number two for a few days, so now adding benefibre to Cereal and taking softener. Not sure if this is why I have a little pain in back. Haven’t needed any diabetic meds since op. Glad to hear others are progressing reasonably well.
For sure take those softeners!! It won't do you any favors to be constipated. I had a little set back over the weekend with a stomach bug or something. I had to get some IV fluids to catch up, but otherwise all is well.

I agree on the stool softeners! I've been taking them daily and have had 3 BM's in 2.5 weeks. :) Awesome job on the weight loss @New challenge!

@Hal711 - I'm so sorry about your stomach bug. Glad you were able to get fluids and seem to be back at it again.

3 WEEK STALL - who has experienced it? I've been sitting at the same weight for 4 days. Daily weigher still. :) I'm sure that will change over time.

Congrats to you! I feel okay but I’m honestly starting to feel like I had surgery for no reason. Still not losing 19 days post op. I lost the 10 lbs of Water but I am only 5 lbs down from my actual preop weight so I’m just frustrated. I have lost more 7 months preop than I have post op. So I’m just trying to stay encouraged. Again, I feel okay but my measurements are awful and the scale isn’t budging and I’m ready to just rip my hair out. Glad everyone else is doing well and not going through whatever my body is doing

I understand the feeling, @ALFxRNY! It was really affecting me mentally too. Can you E-Mail your office and explain your concern and just see what they say? I think what helped me was adding calories. I'm eating way more these days than last week. I've probably doubled my intake.

You go girl! That is a ton of weight lost already. WAHOO! Love that folks are noticing. I wore some smaller clothes today and my coworker was like "Oh, did you go shopping?" I was like "no, just some older clothes". LOL - - no one has noticed the loss yet, but give me 15 more pounds and I'll have way more old clothes options.

I'm nauteous and constipated. Down 25 pounds but it's been tough. I've stalled at 25 pounds lost. I think I need to eat more veggies but no appetite.

Do you have some anti-nausea meds you can take? CONGRATS on the 25 lbs.! So awesome. I'm really forcing myself to eat. I feel like I'm eating and drinking all day long because it takes so long to finish a meal and then after an hour passes I have to quickly catch up on fluids. Then I drink for about an hour and begin eating again.

This is truly my very favorite thing about losing weight. Getting ready in the morning! Suddenly there are many more options. Yay for dresses to work in the summer! Before surgery I was seriously rotating out of 3 pants week after week and just praying the thighs wouldn't rub holes into them. LOL

Yahoo for weight loss! I’m down 34lbs and experiencing my first stall. Frustrating but trying to not get pessimistic.

WOW! You and @Hal711 are killing it! Weight is flying off. I've read that after a stall another big loss is coming. :)

Congrats on your upcoming surgery! I purchased my initial haul at a ton of different places as I wanted to make sure I got the best price and so I took advantage of several site's "first order promotions" :)

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
