Highest weight: 315 June 2017

Got down to 265 on Keto then developed rheumatoid arthritis Spring of 2018. Regained back up to 305 after being on prednisone for inflammation and pain. Stopped gaining once I was taken off fortunately.

Was 303 at my consult appointment with the bariatric surgeon on 2/15/19.

I am currently 290 as I'm back to calorie and carb counting for the past month. My surgery date is June 3rd My program doesn't require a liquid preop diet but wondering if I should do it anyway.

My surgeon set a goal of 168 but haven't been that low since 9th grade so not sure if it's possible.

I'm currently in the 350s and hope to be out of them soon. I haven't been in the 350s in almost 4 years. This is wild lol.

My heaviest was 378. I was 319.8 the day of surgery, 4/15/19, and now I’m at 300 even. I often look for other women who have the same stats as me to see what their experience is because I do feel like it’s different for the heavier girls like me. I know there are other factors that play a part like age and hormonal things. But for the most part, I feel good about my progress and look forward to continue working toward my goal weight of 185.

Hey Guys,

I also started at over 300 pounds. My highest known weight was 308 pounds and that was two weeks before surgery. Day of surgery I was 295 and I am now 190 on the dot. i had surgery on 09/03/2018 so I am a little over 8 months out. I hope to get to 150 before my 1 year anniversary! The first pic is me at 295 a few days before surgery and the second was taken a couple days ago.

Wow.... mc2017 that is amazing!!!! Can I ask which surgery did you have, I am having the RNY on the 24th of May, and I am a little nervous if I'm honest. But after seeing your picture and reading your stats it makes this goal so obtainable.

Hi lovelots,

I had gastric bypass, and i think I made the right decision. I have had ups and down but overall things have worked as they should and I have made huge changes to my diet that has allowed me to improve my health overall and not just lose weight.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
