I hope someone can help me. I am worried I am going to lose my band or something.

I am not exactly sure where to post this. I know a lot of vets come here rather than newbies.

I have been puking in my sleep. I don't know why. I am not tight. I never pb or slime. Nothing feels stuck. Then when I am sound asleep, something is coming up. Last night it was 4 different times. Called the doc this am and all they did was give me Nexium. I don't see how that is going to help as I already take Previcid every morning.

I am going to put something next to the bed so instead of running to the bathroom ( sorry TMI) I can put it in a bowl or whatever to see if it's Water or what it is.

I have to take Ambien, to sleep, so I really can't take it earlier. Last night I stayed up half an hour after I took it, and slept reclining with pillows for awhile too. I noticed while running to the bathroom at one point, it was 4 am.

I know I've preached it to death, but nocturnal reflux can certainly be related to sleep disorders (the other hidden "biggie" problem that people don't usually know about is uncontrolled hypertension). Google it and ask your PCP what he/she thinks.*

*just to clarify, I was not calling your PCP a "he-she", nor do I think your PCP is androgynous

You pick up the phone and say, "I'd like to place an order to go."

Red Lobster? Captain D's? Long John Silvers? That is my whole recipe collection. I'd love ketchup with that!

Sorry - I'm a non-cook when it comes to fish.

Hi

I am posting just to post. The notice at the top suggests that it would be a good idea to post something.

I usually read a lot, but don't post much.

LJM - you still did awesome and got there! You are doing way better than me. The Y hasn't seen me grace it's doors in over a week. I'm proud of you and I think 27 minutes is great. You deserve to be tired. Go get your feet rubbed and kick back!

I would have to protest the pedicure thing. I agree WTH? I remember how bad my feet hurt when I was pregnant. You have my sympathies and support to stalk her :-)

I refrigerate the grape tomatoes (DD loves them) and loves them cold. She'd never complained about them being tough. I believe "normal" tomatoes are meant to be left out - it helps them cure better and keeps them from getting bitter. Never heard of of toughening them though.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
