Ha! It's funny that you say that, cause yes - all my shirts need to be pre-treated for stains before washing. food hits the girls all the time! I never understood why we need to put napkins on our laps....if food falls, that's not where it lands!

I can't wait for my pink streaks to grow out so I can get blue streaks.

How long do you have to wait? And, what color do you have under the streaks?

I'm new to getting my hair done professionally...I used to be more of a home bottle-in-a-box girl. But, after having my hair pretty much fried over several years of home treatments, I've gone professional.

So, waiting is new to me.

Anyone watch Skank-of-Love w/Brett Micheals? The first season's winner had hair I'd love. Shoulder length with hot pink underneath and the bright blond on top. I love that look...Don't know if it's for me, but I want to try one day.

:tt1: Skank-of-Love...perfect name.

That was such a cute girl - the one that won. She did have awesome hair! It's not a look for me - the pink just isn't me...but some people can pull it off. :tt1:

I may get grief from some watchdogs over admitting this, but - I watch that show with my daughter...and point all the things she should NEVER do.

But, yeah...that look suited her so well! I am not sure I have that look. :tt1: But, darn it...I can blame some pre-midlife crisis and GO FOR IT anyway.

I say go for it! We're only young once. I consider early 30's still young. You know when you're 80 it'll be pink or purple...but by then you probably won't have a choice and it won't look so cute.

I want a tattoo so bad. My mother would literally have a heart attack if she found out. It is taboo in her conservative world. lol I'm working up my courage (I need the courage for the pain - I'm such a wimp) and trying to decide what I want and where.

I still can't spell - lol

I have brown hair that is starting to go gray. That's why I went for pink. I thought it would look good with the gray.

I'm going to get just a hair cut one more time and the next time I get my hair cut, I'm going blue. The pink is almost gone.

I want a tattoo so bad.

Tattoos are too permanent. Get a body piercing isntead. :tt1:

I love my tattoo, I got it for my 30th birthday and have never once regretted it. And, I am looking at getting another one now and can't wait. I just can't decide what I want yet.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...
