My sister had all our shopping excursions mapped with the 'acceptable' washrooms noted....Nordstrom's is always a winner.

your sister and i are cut from the same cloth.....i do the exact same thing; DH says i know every starbucks in the metroplex - for some reason they are very clean here in dallas, always a candle burning...:rolleyes2:

ok - i am trying to convince DH to let us adopt this morkie .....since i put my poodle down @christmas, my 17yr chihuaha needs a small playmate - the labs are too rough w/her. she's 8wks old & adorable:

Isn't it easier to ask forgiveness than permission? Bring the dog home, then "make it up" to DH. ;0p

Hey, last spring I just showed up with 9 puppies and a mean momma dog (she wasn't mean to ME), and DH just shrugged and sighed a lot.

We ended up putting Momma down, but the puppies found homes. I promised him I'd NEVER do that again.

And that promise is the HARDEST to keep. There are so many strays I just want to pick up and take inside.

I do have him convinced that a small dog would be okay...but he gets to pick it.

I aims to please. I hated it too. Felt like I could go into an epileptic seizure any moment looking at it.

Thanks!

I'm alive :rolleyes2: I just avoid this site...eh I talk on Yahoo messy and on myspace mostly.

Welcome back Froggi. I'm not trying to chase you off, but while we're on the subject of flashing sig lines...

Um, not being rude or anything, but can't DH manage laundry?

IMO laundry is a man's job! Mr. Mac does it at our house.

Somebody told me a craving for sweets is a vit D deficiency. I should get tested.

Hmm. Interesting. I had one too. Now I don't and I also don't crave sweets. But I think it's because I don't eat a lot of carbs.

But, how do you get the crisp creases on the sleeves of your shirts etc???

You send them out to the laundry? Actually, I have no shirts that need crisp creases. Also, if they are part of a suit, the sleeves get covered anyway.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
