PJTP: I thought my weight loss had been rather slow this month until I looked at the calendar that I log my weights on and I lost 7lbs this month... So my average is pretty good almost 2lbs a week. I am gonna shut up and keep going and not whine about being a slow loser... Jeez.

80lbs down - much congrats!!!!!

She's very active on FB. I guess she's ditching LBT for a cuter forum. :)

That I did notice!

Brandy, you are no where near a slow loser. I'll not say why I am a slow loser, but I'm a slow loser.

I'm slow and I'm a loser.

:)

How ya doin', LJM? :)

Beth, that tongue smile makes it look like you're waiting to be served something to eat.

It's been a crazy day at work so my brain is going in strange directions.

MacMadame - I was thinking she was driving (doh). That guy is beyond reprehensible.

Brandy - good job!

I'm slow and I'm a loser.

OK I'm the one with self-deprecating humor here. No dissing on yourself, Missy!

You know when you look and look and just can't find the right emoticon? It was that one or one of them damn dancing bananas. But I figured the banana was too close to phallic symbol, something LJM will NOT be to keen about in just a few short hours. :scared:

Hey LJM, will hubby record the nasty stuff you say to and about him while in labor? Sometimes those are damn funny.

Holy smokes, I believe the time has arrived for LJM's induction. We are all so funny here, it is like we are all expectant parents, not just her. I can't wait to hear little Joshua has arrived.

Ok, guys, I need your help. Normally, I am incredibly tech savvy and can figure stuff out on my own. But, I am having a complete dumb moment. How do I set it up so when people click on this twitter-ani.gif it takes them here Twitter / susanhelander

If anyone can tell me how to do this, I would appreciate it. I want to add it to my signature on here and another board.

Thanks.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
