I was raised Episcopalian so I believe that Christmas should begin on Dec 25 and last the 12 days of Cmas until Jan 5. But alas, no one else thinks that. :D .

Well, I leave the tree up and the decorations and use the christmas dishes etc until after dinner on the epiphany (Jan 6). So I guess I do overflow into Jan, but not past the 6th.

same here - i don't take the tree (REAL tree) down till after the first of the yr. we then go re-plant it out back.

Oops, quoted that then read the rest of the posts. Guess I am going to hell too. Oh well, hopefully there everyone is treated as equals, and no one gets stoned for misbehaving.

I now picture Plain dancing like Elaine in Seinfeld. Scary.

It's kind of like that, except not as good.

so that explains why your hands are in your pants!

Um, yeah....that's it. That's the ticket....

Vodka, clamato juice, worchester and tabasco sauces, a dash of lemon juice and the lemon wedge, in a glass rimmed with celery salt, with a celery stick thrown in. My fav christmas drink.

Lost me @ clamato juice. Blech!

Ohhhhhhmmmmmm, y'all are goin' ta hell!!! :D Kidding.

Is that an official Bible college pronouncement?

Sorry, Susan, but I'm the part-time night manager of hell....nobody gets stoned there. Oh wait, you meant hit with stones.....nevermind, carry on.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
