And to eventually settle the arguement, we could have a dance-off. Hey, let's set it up for the next lapband convention!

OMG you've planted some sort of device in my head so you can read all my thoughts, haven't you?

Susan, Yeah, the 1 cc they took out seems to have cured my problem. I really would like to know how I could have been so tight and never had a single problem in the daytime.

My boss bought a 6 1/2 foot Santa today to put on the porch of our office. Bah Humbug is right! I am a Christmas hater, so anyone who is also a scrooge is now my bestest friend. Maybe I will get more Christmas spirit now that I have a grandson.

Yes. Yes I have. Just don't ask where the "tuning knobs" for this device are located.

Oh I so have to be at this dance-off. Are there going to be rehearsals for the "cool gang" so we kick ass??

I think there need to be rehearsals....My personal dancing style closely mimics that of the Midnight Oil singer (awkwardly Jerky and spasmic).....so I need some practice.

I can two-step and I can bust a mean "robot". That makes me a dancin' machine!

i enjoy christmas the wk OF & after thru nyrs. it's just too much beforehand "decorating" and parties. got an evite yesterday for a xmas party & it's before thanksgiving.

i asked my girlfriend why so early & she was like everyone else got the wkends closer to xmas.....

DH and i have our "holiday" party between xmas & nyrs - all the shopping & crazed stuff has passed and most are able to relax. that's my favorite time.

I CANNOT relate! I love christmas - the bustle, decorating the house, stringing lights on the tree, 'tree trapping' (cutting one down), wrapping presents, polishing the silver, cooking more elaborate meals, baking, socializing, the smells, the excitement, enjoying a caesar (the only time I drink them).....it's all good!

But only in December, not November, not October, not January. December.

That's the problem though Tap. Christmas starts in September now. I don't know why or how. I remember when Christmas didn't start until the Friday after Thanksgiving. You didn't put up decorations. You didn't buy presents. You didn't hear Christmas songs in the stores until after Thanksgiving. Where did that go?

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
