I'm sorry and all the Canadians will probably have me lynched for saying this. I do not care too much for curling, goodness knows I've been exposed to enough on the Olympics, I find it about as thrilling as watching paint dry. So a challenge: what OlyMpic event could YOU do without?

Canadian here... The only time I actually watch curling is during the Olympics. I do follow the big matches (Roar of the Rings, the Briar, Scotties Tournament of Hearts, etc), but watching a whole game isn't my thing. In my husband's family I'm considered very odd because I can live without curling most of the time. All that said, I'm really liking the mixed doubles format... much quicker-paced, very intense. And we are considering putting the kids into curling next winter.

Turned to the Olympic Channel, what should greet me? Curling! Maybe I should grab a broom and join them? The closing ceremonies are tomorrow and I'll have to find something else to kvetch about!

Watched and I also play as often as I can. Burns up a ton of calories and is so much fun.
