Were you taken off your meds right after surgery?

After surgery, I was told to discontinue my diuretic and blood pressure pills. Was told to take my blood pressure daily and to call the office if it went above 160 on top or 90 on the bottom. It never did.
Just took it, and it's 124/82...with no meds.
Feeling pretty excited about that:)
I also went off my bupropion after surgery and haven't felt the need to restart it.
All I'm taking now is thyroid (which I will forever) and Omeprazole...which we were asked to take for three months after surgery to help with healing.
And of course, my vitamins. Multi, Calcium Citrate with D, More D, B-12 and B-50 complex.
Anyone else getting excited to be off some of their meds?
