So, what made you gain weight in the first place?

I always loved food, this is probably one of the most pathetic things you'll ever hear but when I turned 16 & got my first car one of my first thoughts was, now I can have In-n-out whenever I want. Yeah, that's pretty sad. As I got older I came to realize that in a lot of ways food didn't judge me & gave me that small part of pleasure. Now that I'm 44 & in the middle of my 3 month prep for my surgery & my health is on the verge of getting out of control & things in general are starting not to work I wish that my feelings weren't so damn tasty....

WRONG.
men don’t post much here anymore because women like you just can’t seem to comprehend the notion of subforums. thus ruining the comraderie we are seeking.
or you just can’t stop yammering. probably both.
go to the Women’s forum...... SEE NO MEN THERE.

Truth. I've been here for awhile and women just can't help themselves. I've literally seen women give a man advice on how to grow a beard.

A thread can go two pages full of women giving their two pennies before a man post anything.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
