How long before you wore jeans etc

The surgery place told me to wear a sundress tomorrow that I wouldn't want anything touching my waist. Did you guys experience that and if so how long before you felt comfortable in normal clothes?

My incisions were from the belly button line on up so if you've got a little low cut jeans they should be fine after a couple days

Ty!

I just went back to work at 4.5 weeks. I've lost 16 lbs and while my jeans are loose, but sitting all day in them doesn't feel good (8 hours +2 commute) . My belly button incision starts to get annoyed, so I basically sit with my pants unbuttoned. I miss sitting home in my elastic gym shorts!

I was able to wear soft waist pants at about a week - yoga pants, dress pants.

I had 2 incisions right at my waistline, jeans just rubbed on it wrong, so it was uncomfortable to wear jeans more than a few hours at a time. By 3 weeks, I was able to wear normally.

I wore leggings the two weeks I was home on leave and was back in my dress clothing when I returned to work after two weeks. My pants were not super tight from my prior weight loss but still not super comfortable until about a month out.
