Yay! So glad you are feeling Good! I however have been nauseated and vomiting most of the day. It seems to finally have passed. Walked 1x and making it up to potty ok.

Even had a familiar face here, a personal friend happened to be my CNA [emoji4]

I got sick three times last night, not from drinking anything just in my sleep. I didn't have any nausea medication at that point. Once they gave it to me I felt much better. Going to go walk again right now. Worked with my respiratory therapist this morning and drinking a little here and there when I am awake. I am glad you are feeling better. Keep up the great work!!!

I am staying another night too because of my nausea. Pain control has been tough, apparently I was a tough case and the almost had to open me up all the way. Hoping to get home tomorrow. Miss my own bed.

Man I have been doing great on the water today. The Protein Shakes are super sweet so that is tough. Keep hanging in there! We got this.

Good morning trying4me!! How are doing today? I feel great. Hardly any pain at all and my nausea is getting better and better. I even had some chicken broth at Breakfast this morning. No more IV for me, just waiting for the Dr. to come discharge me this morning (fingers crossed) I'm ready to go home that's for sure.

In glad you are doing pretty good. I'm only 2 days out and definitely don't have any hunger at all. In fact all the food commercials just gross me out. I'm sure that will wear off soon enough. How are you doing with your Protein? I get start full liquids tomorrow for now I am still on clears.

Hi trying4me!! How are you doing? How are things going for you at home? Today I woke up nearly feeling like myself and it's fantastic. Struggling to get all 64 oz of liquids down but am getting closer to it everyday!!! I can get the Protein and stay within my calories no problem though. It was really painful to drink until today. I think it was still the gas from the surgery that was doing it. I am taking small drinks today and everything seems to going down pretty well for the most part. I even was able to to do housework and laundry today :).... I hope everything is going as well for you!!!

Hey lovedrotten! So glad things are going well at home. Last night I chased pain but today I feel better. I think I tried to tapper off narcs too soon. I am hitting my Water and protein goals. What is your caloric goal? I don't have one set. But I am under 500kcal. I did some like housework and laundry too! Felt good to move more. I am in Washington state about 30 miles from the Eagle Creek fires and our air quality is awful, so all my walking has been inside. Bummer!

Do you have a divette in one of your incisions that hurts the most?

Keep working on that water. I am cheering for you. Oh and if you like Tomato Soup, a half cup is very satisfying right now.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
