@Katariina So glad that things went well. I'm just trying to keep calm but I'm having trouble because my surgery is Monday.

Same here zallycatz16. My surgery is on Tuesday. I can't concentrate and very scattered right now. Feel like my emotions are all over the place. Just want it done!

I'm on Tuesday too. I'm so looking forward to having broth instead of Protein Drinks. I had to switch to soy Friday. Soy Protein is gross. Just getting through.

Today is Sunday, and I will be discharged from the hospital in the next few hours. My surgery was on Friday morning.

I did not feel any nausea, so I was quickly moved to Clear Liquids. However, I had my brother bring me about 4oz of organic consomme I had made in days previous, and an organic herbal tea bag. The Lipton and god only knows powdered bullion they offered me does not cut it

just went through hurricane Irma this weekend, no power or Water, and my surgery is on Friday. I am so totally freaked right now. Guess we'll have to stay in a hotel the night before so I can shower Thursday night and again on Friday morning with that special soap they give us. Been so busy buying hurricane supplies I have totally blanked on what I need to be getting for my stay in the hospital and Protein drinks for when I come home.

Dear Lord let the power come on before Thursday.

Ugh. So sorry you had to go through that this week. Hope things are going much smoother by the time Friday rolls around.

I report to ambulatory surgery at 7:15 tomorrow morning. I am so ready for this 15 month saga to be over and for the next stage to begin. It has been a long haul but just several more hours and I can see where it goes from there.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
