I am about 3 months out and scared to eat... all I eat is eggs all day for my Protein :/ anyone else struggle with this?

I've had and still do have moments of concern about eating. I'm afraid of dumping.

What worries you about eating?

I'm not really sure.. like, what if I eat the wrong thing and get sick? Or I just eat the wrong thing.. I'm just scared and I want to continue this journey to a healthier me. I'm very bad ad knowing what is okay and what isn't at eating. So I stick to eggs. I had chicken which was so good but I don't want to get sick of it by eating so much so fast.
And I don't know what a "normal" day of eating looks like for other people.

Ambergene...I am on week 5 I've lost 23lbs...this is what I am eating now...

In the morning I start out hydrating and take my bariatric vitamins...after about 30 minutes I usually eat one scambled egg w/ cheese or I have 1/3 cup cottage cheese or Greek yogurt. I continue to hydrate with Water or Protein Shake or Jello or sf popcicles. At lunch I have tuna mixed with mayo or 3 oz chicken or fish. Continue hydrating...Dinner I have yogurt or chicken or fish or cottage cheese. Hope this was helpful

Would you share what you ate during your first three weeks post op? I'm struggling with this! I can't seem to get it together and I'm worried I'm over eating!

Shesacleverone....Sure... my first three weeks went like this....first week all liquid Premier Protein 60 grams a day...48 oz of other liquids...water, broth, sf popsicles, sf jello....sip only and all day sip sip sip! Week two same Protein just more liquids plus eat Laughing Cow cheese twice a day and started Greek yogurt one a day ...all food in small amount maybe 2 oz at a time..week 3 added scambled egg w/ cheese...I was so happy to add this...I craved scambled eggs from the first day post-op and still do also started eating cottage cheese..all foods were never more than 1/4 to 1/3 cup and took tiny slow bites... hope this was helpful :)

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
