So i'm in the full Fluid stage adn did a stupid thing. After a bad day, i ate a bag & a 1/4 of chips. I felt so sick afterwards. Didn't throw up( ok a bit of flem) and had a few bowel movements but was in rough shape for the rest of the night. I still have my Soup for dinner and took some tylenol to help me sleep.

So paranoid that i've moved the band?

Also i had some bad Snacks during the clear Fluid stage and when i got on my scale well my weight was the same as the day of my surgery. I was going down on the scale at home. I know different scales, but what am i doing wrong. Will i just maintain my weight till i get my first fill?

Any advice....;)

First, STOP!!!!!! Do NOT go off your diet stages again. I knoe it is tough, but just take each day as a new day, don't beat yourself up for what happened already, just move forward from here. Do your best. If you are in FULL liquids, creamy Soups help alot. The Campbell's Soup-at-Hand Soups are good and basically pureed (but not the ones with Pasta in them, stay away from those).

No, you likely did not do anything to your band. But no one really knows for certain. If you are not having issues with vomiting, then right now I think you are okay. But again, I'm not your doc.

The period of time on the stages after surgery are NOT for losing weight, they are for healing. Please do not get caught up in a scale number right now. Many people GAIN weight in the post-op stage. It's normal.

Also, take some time and look around here, there is LOADS of good info. The FAQ and references forum is good. There is also good info about fills in the Fills thread. You will likely not be restricted from your first fill, I just wanted to warn you of that. Most people say it is three to five fills before they reach optimum restriction that sticks with them. It takes time, but you WILL get there.

My advice is to stay on your post op diet and stay OFF of the scales.< /p>

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
