Tentatively scheduled for surgery on July 14th in Cabo Mexico I have an endoscopy on Tuesday and as long as those results come back okay regarding my lapband I will be scheduled and looking forward to joining the losers bench. Can't wait to get this lapband out of me and really truly embrace a new tool for weight loss.

Would love to follow others being sleeved in July and others revising to a sleeve

I am having my Sleeve done July 10th. I am having it though a surgeon in California. I am kind of nervous because my BMI is lower then most. I have had the band about 7 years and have been having trouble. I am only 15 lbs away from my goal weight. I was never successful at loosing weight prior to the lap band. Some people are concerned that I have such a Low BMI and am getting the sleeve. My history tells me, I would go right back to where I was. I have worked hard to get where I am. Naturally, if I was this weight and no lap band, I would not even consider WLS. Any input would be appreciated.

Best of luck to all you July sleevers.

Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!

Have a great Wednesday too! Sorry you're hungry all the time, I'm pretty much the same..and I'm sick of eating the same food all the time.

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
