testing new avitar

Recommended Posts

Well now that I'm getting a little use to you all I figured it might be time to show my face in the place.

As for the creating the avatar is was a little bit of a challenge. I had the .jpg picture of myself which I pulled into Microsoft Word then I resized the picture cause it has to be 50 X50 pixels. Then when it was small I copied it and pasted it into Microsoft Office Picture Manager and saved it and a .png file. I am sure other graphic packages could have done this faster I just had to use the tools I had. Hope this works out for you gals that are trying to post your pictures.

Tanya, that's some mighty impressive computering you did! I still haven't been able to figure out how to re-size. Penni did mine. Nice to see you!

DeLarla,

I guess I should be a little computer savy. I managed a team of computer support staff (helpdesk and systems engineers). So to be on top of my game I had to stay current in all types of technology so my engineers couldn't use the excuse of not being able to help support staff. At any rate we had a high customer satisfaction rating. Not bragging I just enjoy what I do.

Be careful what you post or I will nominate you the new Avatar Fixer. You'll be flooded with requests to resize pictures. Anyone wanna second that? Good job!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
