Unflavored Protein Isolate Powder - Okay pre-surgery?

Quick Question- My surgeon requires a clear liquid diet the day before....unflavored Protein powder mixed in broth is okay, right? My paperwork says it counts in my clear liquid diet post-surgery but is unclear in the pre-surgery instructions (I, unfortunately just realized this). Anyone else use(d) Protein Powder pre-surgery?

Can you see through it when you put in a glass? Does it have milk products in it? Clear BROTH would be OKAY.
You must avoid liquids that aren't clear, such as milk, cream, whipped cream, almond milk, soups (other than plain broth), fruit juice or lemonade that has pulp. If you're questioning it, it's worth calling the physician office.
