  2. Can you see through it when you put in a glass? Does it have milk products in it? Clear BROTH would be OKAY. You must avoid liquids that aren't clear, such as milk, cream, whipped cream, almond milk, soups (other than plain broth), fruit juice or lemonade that has pulp. If you're questioning it, it's worth calling the physician office. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  8. I started off with Unsure and was not disappointed. They are great! However, now 2 months post-op I primarily use the Premiere Protein high protein shakes (available at Cosco and other places) for work, convenience, and on the go. They have 30 g of protein in each drink. It's easy to get all my protein requirements and more with these not to mention they're relatively inexpensive compared to other choices. I also keep a case of them in my car along with a case of bottled water. Works for me! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  9. I used to chew gum all the time. However, I was definitely advised against it on my post-op plan. For me, I made some lifestyle changes in conjunction with the surgery. I figured the risk of swallowing gum and causing problems with my surgery (and the time energy and money invested )was not worth the temporary pleasure benefit of chewing a stick of gum. Because of that I'm OK with not chewing gum and can have a happy life without it by focusing on other things. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  10. I like Premier Protein shakes from Costco. Each one provides 30 g of protein. I find it easy to meet and exceed the minimum protein requirements with these. So I usually get 60 to 90 mg of protein using these, and a bit more with Greek yogurt. If I have meat, it's in addition to the aforementioned. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
