Multivitamins: Building up before gastric bypass

Recommended Posts

Hello, I am new on here. I have only done a couple of posts but I got to tell you all what I noticed about Multivitamins. Lately, for the past 2 weeks I have been taking my multivitamins(its in tablet form)but this time around I take the recommended two tablets instead of the one tablet I usually would take. I notice a change in my cravings and appetite. My cravings arent as strong and my appetite has mellowed out not as intense. I believe the multivitamins are to blame. I havent changed anything outside of adding the extra tablet each day which is what is recommended. Multivitamins are very important BEFORE and after surgery. It makes sense. Get on multivitamins before your surgery. I dont know if this is medically sound but in my case I really have cut out sugar with the recommended multivitamins. Its always a good thing to prepare beforehand. I will ask my primary doctor to order bloodwork to check for any deficiencies before surgery. Its a good thing to know where you stand. Well, I just wanted to put that out there. Multivitamins are

Youre welcome. It looks like Multivitamins along with the recommendations and guidelines for pre & post diet that multivitamins also play an important role to our wellbeing and success. Currently I am on the Pure Synergy Multivitamins they only carry it in tablet form. I got it from their site www.thesynergycompany.com or you can buy them on Amazon. I do not plan to take them post surgery because I dont want to swallow it(and its a large pill) I plan to switch all my Vitamins to chewable. Most likely Celebrate brand which you can buy on amazon. I wished they did make a chewable. I called them to confirm whether or not they make a chewable they said they do not. I also asked if it could be cut in half and taken that way. The rep stated that it would lose its effectiveness. So, since their are chewables out there I will do the chewable thing for a while.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
