Reward for meeting weight loss goal

Recommended Posts

I have two goals and two rewards...

1) Below 200 pounds and I get these earrings from Tiffany & C0.:

2) Goal weight (150 pounds) is a new wardrobe.

I've been saving $$ each month since June of last year and hit gw this month, and finally started to invest in good quality clothing. I have a lot fewer clothes but I love being able to buy off the rack with confidence. That was one reward. My husband, who is very fit, is taking me (just us, not the four kids!) to Spain this summer. Lots of hiking and walking. I'm ready and so apply that I can keep up with him now!

Mini goals were celebrated with new haircut, investing in some quality skincare products (I think weight loss has aged me!), and a family photo session.

I like to to treat myself with small gifts like a cute outfit or maybe a MAC lipstick:)

At 100 pounds, I've been thinking about a tattoo. I'm still wavering about that. I may go with a piece of engraved jewelry that has my starting weight in Roman numerals on the back and either Fearless/Brave/ or Never Again on the front.

This summer when the weather is nicer, I'll go ziplining with my kids, even though I'm scared to death of it because I'll be able to do it and not exceed the max weight.

At little milestones -- every pants size - I've been treating myself to at least one pair of pants that fits. I'm also donating everything that's too big as soon as I "outgrow' it.

At the end of the rainbow (125 pounds from high weight) there's a Lily Pulitzer outfit with my name on it -- and a cute pair of sandals to go with it.

One year after goal, I will look into plastics to tighten up anything that's flabby.

I haven't really thought about this but I think it's a fabulous idea!

I think as my reward for my goal weight I'll buy a new corset. I have a collection of them now that I can no longer wear (but I cant emotionally part with yet).

I'm 1lb away from 50lbs lost...Ill have to think of a mini reward for that one...hopefully soon!

I'd like to get a tattoo too, but since I'll probably need plastics down the road I want to wait until that's done before I do any permanent inking.

My reward is going to be hiking in colorado this summer with my kids. I won't be wearing my 100 pound "backpack" anymore, so I'm excited to do that and rafting. Both things I couldn't do last summer.

When I hit goal and depending how I feel my big treat yo self will be a Tummy Tuck. Before I even gained weight I already had a pouch from a twin pregnancy so will be nice to have it all fixed up.

Definitely buying a whole new closet of clothes!! I wore baggy clothes and leggings while losing and saving up my cash. When I got to goal it was so rewarding to get rid of everything in my closet and buy all new ! Now my goal to is run in a 5k in June , I started running recently, after that I'm planning a vacation, somewhere warm

I could have written that! Purging my closet was amazing-- I have a lot fewer clothes now but they all fit well. Yes to a 5k, and yes to a beach vacay! We go the beach several times a year anyway but this time I wiil be able to rock a cute swimsuit.

I've been celebrating little milestones with a new piece of make up that I've been wanting.

I hit my first BIG milestone of losing 100 lbs right before Christmas, and celebrated by starting my tattoo! It's in my profile photo, my phoenix. I go back in 2-3 weeks for the colour to be added.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
