My surgery was yesterday... so much pain!

post-307223-14836015272658_thumb.jpg

Well there's no turning back now... I'm in so much pain. Mostly gas pains but thats no joke! And my ribs so tight and achy. I feel like I can't Move my upper body in my own. I had hoped I'd get some sleep in tonight but I'm waking up every 45 minutes. How long did these gas pains last for you guys?

On day three post op I was getting gas by taking just a tiny sip of Water, while I could burp, it was of little relief because it was constant, I took Gas X with little relief. I took the advise of someone to lye on my side, left for me, bent my knees as close to my chest and put a warm heating pad on my lower abdomen and I started passing gas within 5 minutes. Day 4 was exponential better with less gas, I am to sip more regularly now still with some gas. I'm starting Probiotics today to see if these helps.
