Perfect pants for women after surgery!

Recommended Posts

I am a Lularoe Consultant, as well as a gastric sleever, surgery was 3-1-16.

I know many of you think these leggings are as good as Lularoe but they are not. I ordered them months ago.

Lularoe has a Yoga waistband, which is completely different than an elastic waistband.

I give my fellow sleevers a discount for shopping with me. and hey- if you have an online pop up party- you can earn free clothes. and all that involves is I set up an online event, and you invite your family and Facebook friends to shop. its simple and you earn free Lularoe goodies!! Once you try Lularoe, its hard to accept anything else. I will not wear plain elastic waistbands, not now, that I know something way more comfortable is out there for me to wear.

Does the discount you offer make the LLR pants $11.00? If so I'll definitely purchase several pair from you!

no, sorry I cant discount that much. but you do pay a little more for better items. I mean unless you dont mind the elastic waist then by all means stick with that. But since my surgery, and i discovered Lularoe and how comforting they felt on me, it is well worth the extra money to have that softness. Quality over quantity.

Darn. You should really try a pair of the VIV Leggings. I own several LLR and at least 10 VIV and the only difference is the waistband. I too was a LLR snob until I had my VSG. Now leggings are the only thing that fits and I like having variety. I get tired of looking at the same thing day in and day out. Yes I could buy 2 new LLR for $50 or I could buy 4 pair of these. I'm ok with wearing a knockoff for a few months while they fit.

People aren't going to spend $25 minimum on something they will wear for a few months. I was trying to help those who aren't consultants and need a cheaper option.

Good luck on your LLR business.

I ordered a pair from the Amazon site and the plus size fit me big. I am wearing a size 16 plus at the time and the plus leggings fit me big. I would say the quality of the leggings is good for the price. I have been using them to sleep on cold days. I plan to order a another pair in regular size to compare. I have not tried LR brand yet since my body is still in transition I would not want to spend too much money on leggings.

I am so excited by this post. I have been wearing the same pants style for 8 years... but at $60 a pop, I won't be able to afford rapid size changes. I love the idea of buying clothes that will fit multiple sizes!

Lysse leggings are great quality and have accommodated my weight loss well! They are pricey but often available on Amazon for a discount. Great yoga waistband! Macy's carries a great brand of leggings as well, not expensive and well made.

Can't remember the brand

I just ordered a pair in the regular size since the plus size fit me big. I also ordered the tunic. Looking forward to receiving the package next week. ????

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
