How Long Till You Feel Better?

I found out today there's leak either in my port or the tube right after the port..

So I have to go in next week to have revision surgery, and they're moving the port while they're there so it's easier to access.

While I watched the contrast go into the port and then just SPLOOSH into my body, it made me cry and I feel like the band is not going to work for me.. like I'm doomed for failure.

That's why I never felt proper restriction, so I know the PLUS SIDE is that when they fix it, I'll be able to find a sweet spot..

But for now, I'm dejected about the whole situation.

How long does the depression of knowing you have to be 'fixed' last?

Sorry that you feel so bad!! That really stinks that you have to go back to the hospital but just think, you have done great so far and after it will be even better!!!!

Good luck and please updated us afterwards!

All the best,

Maureen

I am so sorry to hear about your port - I am very sympathetic to you cause I know you probably hate to go back in the hospital to have this fixed. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Hang in there - okay and let us know how you are doing.

Laura sweetie~~

I am so sorry that you are having a problem, but I think to have lost 48 pounds with a band not working, you absolutely freaking rock and I truly admire you! Honestly!

So don't be down girl, you know the problem now and they are going to fix it! It is good that you found it. Soak up some extra attention with a 2nd surgery from those around you and smile--you lost 48 lbs basically on your own!
