Heart palpitations

Recommended Posts

I've had my band in for about 6 years. Lately I've been having intermittent heart palpitations (pvc's) lasting for hours and sometimes lasting for days. I've had thousands of dollars worth of tests all showing I have a healthy normal heart. It's getting more frustrating because it keeps happening .

Has anyone else had this issue?

I have some cardiac concerns, but not what you're describing. You've probably done some online searching, so I won't bring the link here, but I did notice that the Cleveland Clinic suggests that PVC (of which I'd never heard) may be the result of stress and some not-great habits when no heart problem is known. I'm not suggesting that that's your answer, just that it's something to consider.

I am experiencing pvc's. (pre ventricular contractions). Everyone experiences this from time to time. My issue is that when it starts it happens 20-30 times a minute. It turns into a constant pounding and I have to catch my breath.

I have been banded for almost 3 years and about a month ago started having chest pain and palpitations. I was having PACs (premature atrial contractions) after all my testing the docs say my main arteries look great but is having me get my band checked to see if there is something wrong with it. I go today for an upper GI so hopefully I'll get some answers.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
