Face work - how to find a surgeon?

Recommended Posts

I watch All My Children. I have watched it since it started.

I had no idea that face lift cost that much. I was thinking it

was more like10,000 I am going to have to wait a long time and

maybe I will inherit some money. That's a lot of money!

Denise - I was lurking on a theard one day and remember someone I knew watched it - (it was between you - green or Bjean)

Yep face lifts are big money.. I live in a resort area - so I will pay resort prices. But I think 25 to 30 is about what they are now a days.

but if you just get your eyes done its like $2500 -

Everything that I have had done, the band and the face lift, was paid for by inherited money. My mum died 2 years ago. I have heard that it is possible to pay much less up here in Toronto but I didn't want to risk my face.

I have also heard that some of the best plastic surgeons in the world are in Brazil. It seems that Brazilian women have long been into cosmetic improvements. I don't know whether this would be a cheaper alternative. There is Mexico. This is something Wasa might know about. She is getting her TT done there. Why don't you PM her for some input?

Denise822 Be sure to keep us posted on any news you get about PS outside the USA.

Green: If you went through 9 hours of anethesia with asthma, then maybe I shouldn't worry about it.

I use to have that problem where every cold went right to my lungs. I quit smoking 10 years ago and no longer have that problem.

I recently won a judgement of $13000.00 from a malpractice lawsuit against a lawyer that really screwed my over on my divorce. Turns out that he doesn't have malpractice insurance. I've done an assets search and his house has several other malpractice suit leins, IRS leins, and a forclosure on it. Looks like I won't see a cent, but if I'd have gotten my money I could go to the best PS surgeon.

On TITS. I've always had large breasts, very round and firm, thankfully not the drooping kind (2 kids but only breastfed a month). When I weighed in at ideal, they were 34-36 B cups. Now they are D cups. My ex of 37 years never seemed that interested in them (think he was more interested in men than women) so I figured all those men that were attratected to me was because of my brain (or if you're a Freudian, a closet triangle).

My BF of 10 years is wild over my breasts. So I learned it wasn't my brain.....:):cry I want a reduction/lift when this is over.

I had no idea that men were so breast crazy. I've always wanted those little tits that allow you to run without them bouncing all over the place.

Now I see on cable TV all the porn stars and such have these jugs that look totally out of proportion to the rest of their bods. And the nipples are almost on top of their boobs:rolleyes:!!!!!!!

OPENING the thread:

I've lost all my weight plus some. I've been +/- 10 pounds for a year so I think I'm good to go for surgery.

No lose skin, no deflated breasts....nothing like that.

My face has thinned out and my nose is overpowering my face. Always wanted a nose job since a teen but it was on the back burner...well, in the pantry really.

But now I need it.

There are thousands of docs around....I can spend $ at EACH for consulations....but that's rediculious. And asking family and friends???? I'd rather them now know.

Anyone know of any good and not overpriced surgeons in NC or even Mexico?

Know about the price...and estimate?

Thanks!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
