So, I am at 49% of my weight loss goal, I am four months post op. SW was 265 (Highest weight was 270 before i started the program) and current weight is 203. I have been at 203 for 2 weeks now and can NOT seem to get this to go down at all. How can I get over this plateau? I want to be in onederland so bad. lol. I exercise atleast 4 days a week-usually 5 and eat the same things and always watch what I eat.

@@mlgok How much Protein are you getting? How about fluids? Are you getting enough calories? You may need to increase protein/fluids - maybe add some healthy fats or veggies/fruits. Change things up a bit - kick yourself out of the stall! You've done so good so far - Congrats!

I seem to hit weight loss walls at the weights I have always been at walls. Like I was over 300 for a long time, and when I dieted before surgery I could never get below 300, so when I got around 300, I stalled there for a while, then my body had to give up and keep losing.

The next 50 pounds came off easily. Then I stalled again.

Now I am stuck at my college weight, just flip flopping a couple pounds every day.

My calories and macros are fine. It is going to take a little while and I will start losing pounds again. I have been losing inches all along. Looking at the numbers is impossible to gain weight on the calories and macros I am eating, I am going to have to lose, I am still eating at a deficit and not at starvation levels.

You might be at a weight your body wants to defend but if you keep doing the same thing it will have to stop defending and you will start losing. Stalls are part of the process.

Stalls are a normal, natural, and necessary part of the process of losing weight. If you intend to lose a significant amount of weight you will experience falls.

Just follow your program.

Focus on getting in all of your Protein and fluids (what is your Protein target?).

Avoid added sugars (especially high fructose corn syrup), and fried foods.

Take your Vitamins and supplements as directed.

Exercise.

Stay off the scale.

And, Embrace the Stall

@@KristenLe Thank you girl! I am definitely super excited about my progress. I eat about 90g of Protein a day. Maybe 25-30g carbs a day. You're right about maybe needing to change things up. I drink atleast 100 oz of Water a day. So I definitely feel like I'm doing things right but just cant seem to get below 200. Lol. I usually eat the exact same things everyday for every meal so i might switch some things out.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
