Thanks for the post. I am looking forward to loose skin being a problem at this point. Way preferable to fat for me.

Which Victoria's Secret bra do you buy? I have never shopped there because it always felt cheap to me but someone gave me a gift certificate and I do need new bras.

Our floppy ass and sagging boobs won't kill us - our fat very well could! I'd much prefer saggy thighs than have my leg amputated due to diabetes. I also be glad when I don't float as well - I can barely go under Water without bobbing to the surface! ????

My husband is the only one who gets to see me nekkid and if he doesn't like it, self service is always an option for him.

Hah! Love this! I figure my husband has loved me full and fluffy at almost 300lbs (and various other weights in between) I am guessing a little loose skin won't send him away.

Thanks for the post. Needed to hear it today!

if they lose (not loose, people!!)

And 1000 times this!!!

The bras in the body by victoria collection are nice.

I have always thought VS bras were crap too, and a lot of them are because they are designed for people that don't NEED a bra, but are just wearing one. Soma has the best bras but the full coverage body by Victoria feels pretty nice. It doesn't have the lift that Soma has though.

I was getting so frustrated trying to swim, because I floated so much at the end. It is hard to swim when you float that much, you aren't getting the work out that you could. I have not been swimming since weight loss, but I should try it soon.

The skin/flab is annoying, sometimes it hurts and even makes noises. Still it is totally worth it. I can stuff it all in clothes or Shapewear and I look good. The number of people that will ever see me naked is pretty low, while the number of people that will see me fully clothed looking good is very high.

I honestly think the loose skin argument is just the final cop-out of people that are afraid of surgery. It is just like people having their family and "friends" tell them that they won't look right small. It is just stuff to hold people back from being great.

They do have some poor quality bras, but if you dig a little deeper, they have some super soft push up bras that give good coverage and a lot of support. When I get home, I will look for the style name for you.

Whether in a pool, a lake or the sea, that always made me so self-conscious and humiliated. Sadly, I think I felt that way even at 160 or 170, a great, big apple.

"Cheap" in terms of quality or in floozy terms? I'm really not sure which you mean.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
