I was sleeved 8/9 and have a FB that I use for games as real life issues prevented me from having a real FB. Will look into it though.

Hi All! I'm in North Dallas area....sleeved on 7/28 though. Not quite August. Would love to meet people in the area who are near same date too. Maybe I can squeak by for the August group ;)

I to was sleeved on 8-11-16 today is my first day of food after 3 weeks of Protein drinks. It was a little rough I am suppose to do 100 grams of Protein and 64 oz of liquids. I had a scrambled egg for Breakfast, tuna for lunch and roccota cheese with marinara sauce for dinner and 2 Protein shakes was was tough was trying to get it all in I felt very fully. I am doing well from the surgery still have a little pain but not bad.

I was just surprised how hard it was to get everything in also I started multi Vitamins and B complex I bought liquid Vitamins I will be ordering chewable in the future. The liquid vitamins make me feel to full. How about the rest of you. How are you feeling.

Its nice to be able to get some food in even though its a bit mushy. But its fun and am grateful for it. So am having fun mixing things up so I can stop drooling over food I can't have that I see on the TV.

I eat about a cup total for the day I get full around 4 ounces. Some times a lil more sometimes a lil less.

Our group has some other month sleevers in it so you would be more than welcome. It is an amazing and supportive group and has been a God send. By the way, I'm in Plano!

I'm 57 and going on 9/13. I'm very worried about age impacting this plan. How are you feeling?

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
