So as I wait patiently for my pre-op testing to be ordered and surgery scheduled - I end up with a pinched nerve in my neck (have disc disease). I am being referred to a Spine Specialist and put on neurontin in the meantime. If this screws up the timing of my WLS - I'm going to be apeshit! :-(

oh I hope it heals up quickly! I get a pinched nerve down low in my back (old injury) and get pain down my leg. I find epsom salts baths to be very helpful, does that help you at all?

I haven't tried. This is affecting my left arm...fingers numb, pain from neck thru shoulder, elbow and fingers. Just called Spine specialist and they're booking out into September (when I'm supposed to be scheduled for WLS). I'm hoping I can find away to be seen sooner.

keep us posted, but do give the epsom salts baths a try. the heat as well as the Water helps me. I do yoga too when I get my pinched nerve but since yours is somewhere else, I don't know what poses might help you.

I can sympathize though! it is a pain like no other.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
