Pre-op Vitamins regimen

Please let me know what Vitamins did everyone start taking before surgery. I should be having surgery in October / November & would like to start now. My doctor recommended a women's Vitamin only, he said everything else is not really needed but I know other take more and it's been helpful.

It has helped me to have my hair not to drop out as much and better nails.
