I swallow all my pills whole. My Vitamin is a horse pill and I have no choice. I haven't had a problem yet and I'm 5 days post op as well.

I was given my blood pressure and sleeping pills by hospital staff starting the day after surgery. They had me swallow them whole with Water. No issues. You'll be just fine.

I was told anything smaller than an M&M is fine.

I took whole pills the day after surgery. One of the pills, was large. You will be fine.

I've never had any restrictions on swallowing my pills. In the hospital, the day after my surgery I was given my normal pills to take. Now just over 3 months out, I have taken whole pills ever since. No worries!

You should be fine. By the way, Celebrate makes two kinds of chewable Multivitamins, one is a soft chewy and the other is like a sweet tart. Both are good.

I do soft chewies for all my Vitamins. And, powder vitamins that I mix up into milk. My surgeon told me that I cannot take a pill. And plus all my pain meds and everything --I'm taking is all liquid form.
