My guilty pleasure is surf fishing---no surprise there, right?

In my opinion surf fishing is better than sex:

I can do it alone and does not require batteries :)

I can do it in public and not get arrested :)

After I'm through I do not crave a PB&J

It doesn't leave me with pregnancy worries

I don't have to rely on some one else to "find the right spot"

I can do it all day and all night without hearing anyone whine

AND the end result tastes great on the Bar-B-Q!!

Yep, my guilty pleasure-----surf fishing... ;)

I am a very conservative person - and happily married - but I have an unreasonable crush on Robert Reich. :D that's my guilty pleasure.

Heh @@Christinamo7 I took a Robert Reich class in undergrad.

I'm an unabashed Justin Bieber fan and I love to watch Catfish and Teen Mom. All while maintaining an utterly highbrow professional life.

I watch Judge Faith everyday.....even re-runs, and I can't wait for the next season of Nashville to come out!

OH! and I LOVE LOVE....'60s and 70's Rock!

There is also the smell of the surf.

Hmm...I'm going to go with red lipstick.

So not my style (very fair skin + very dark hair + red lips = Snow White ). I virtually never wear it out in public, barring Christmas day or the extremely rare mood.

And yet, every now and then, for no reason at all, I will swipe it on just to hang around the house and do absolutely nothing because it makes me feel glamorous and pretty.

The line in this song by tim McGraw reasonates with me... why do we risk love and life after all the times we have been hurt?

We ride and never worry about the fall , I guess that's just the cowboy in us all

"The Cowboy In Me"

I don't know why I act the way I do
Like I ain't got a single thing to lose
Sometimes I'm my own worst enemy
I guess that's just the cowboy in me

I got a life that most would love to have
But sometimes I still wake up fightin' mad
At where this road I'm heading down might lead
I guess that's just the cowboy in me

The urge to run, the restlessness
The heart of stone I sometimes get
The things I've done for foolish pride
The me that's never satisfied
The face that's in the mirror when I don't like what I see
I guess that's just the cowboy in me

The urge to run, the restlessness
The heart of stone I sometimes get
The things I've done for foolish pride
The me that's never satisfied
The face that's in the mirror when I don't like what I see
I guess that's just the cowboy in me

Girl I know there's times you must have thought
There ain't a line you've drawn I haven't crossed
But you set your mind to see this love on through
I guess that's just the cowboy in you

We ride and never worry about the fall
I guess that's just the cowboy in us all

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
