I am now 12 weeks out as of tomorrow as are you ....I'm down 50 since operation but find that I have slight to moderate indigestion/ uncomfortable feeling after I eat almost anything. So now I find myself skipping meals rather than get the uncomfortable feeling......anyone else have such problems?

If I eat too quickly or take too large of a bite of food it is uncomfortable. Also certain food seem to bother me like the ribs of leaf lettuce or a small piece of toasted wheat bagel that I tried last week. Couldn't eat tuna for the first many weeks either but now not a problem. Soft foods are still tolerated the most easily. People heal at different rates I guess.

I am also 12 weeks out and down 40 lbs.

Yes definitely, just did that today, skipped lunch. Congratulations, 12 wks out and am down 45 pounds, still can't eat red meat of any kind unless it is ground up and in Soup. I do better with soft and liquid still.

Me too, I always eat too fast and it hurts or it comes back up. I can't eat tuna or red meat of any kind, its too rich. I can't drink carbonated drinks at all, still a lot of gas and upset stomach.

Thanks for the feedback. I definitely still eat too fast and I bet that is a big part of my indigestion. Trouble is I was a fast and big eater all my life and its been a tough habit to break. I take nexium now morning and evening and it seems to be helping. I also bought a Digestive aid in the Vitamin Shop. But its disappointing to to have to eat so little and then feel uncomfortable. The 50 lb weight loss in 3 months has helped ease that pain.

I'm 3 months out and still on mostly soft foods. Sleeved on May 25th. Major Constipation issues. I even got a fisher because of it. Now taking care of that too. Eating is really hit or miss. If it's a miss, I'm in pain for a few hours. If it's s hit, it's usually fish or Soup, or something soft. No lagunes or cooked broccoli or uncooked carrots

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
