I lost 25lbs in my first two weeks after my surgery. This week which was my 3rd, I lost NOTHING. I was very excited, but now I'm kind of disappointed.:cry My doctor told me to start working out after my 15th day. I started bike riding for an hour, but that hasn't helped. I'm eating very little and I'm still not losing. Can anyone help?

I lost about the same amount of weight in the same time period and I didn't lose any more weight for about 1 week and a half. Now this week I have lost about 2 pounds so I am glad that the scale is finally moving again. I have been alot more active but I plan on setting an exercise schedule soon. I am sure that will help. Stay focused on the prize, sounds like you are doing things right. I know it's frustration I am going through the same thing, it will work give it some time.

Ene, for Pete's sake, you can't possibly expect to continue losing at that accelerated rate for long, right? Your body has lost TWENTY-FIVE POUNDS!! It needs to take a breather. Give it three, four, five weeks, and you'll STILL be ahead of the curve on weight loss. You're doing wonderfully and will look back in wonder that you every worried about this.

Relax!!!

Every diet I've been on, I always stalled around the third week.. Knowing that doesn't make it easier though!! On a different forum I used to go to, they'd call the third week on Atkins Post Induction Stall Syndrome (or PISS), because everyone complained about it.. Congrats on the 25 pounds!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
