I didn't but I have read plent of posts from folks who did. Just let them

Know when you check in, the nurses can provide you with a pad and granny panties (or at least so I've heard!).

My period came down right after surgery. When I woke up from the anesthesia to use the bathroom BOOM there it was! My period

Rapid weight loss can start the flow. I was deep in rag central for my surgery. Doctor said it was common.

I started mine the day after surgery. It was 2 weeks early, not sure if the shock of surgery caused it or not.

Hi !! Congratulations on your upcoming surgery ! I'm 3 weeks post op and I feel great! Unfortunately I had my Bloody friend my day of surgery (May 10th) and I was given a granny panty and a pad to use just right before surgery while I was putting on my gown. I was told the hospital will not allow you to go into the operating room with your own personal underwear or pad as everything needs to be clean and sterile through there standards .. I was even given a new pair in the mng with lots of pads for my overnight stay and I was fine..and two days later when I got home it left

Thank you and congratulations to you as well . Yes they told me they would give me that right before surgery i was worried because i know they will be putting in a catheter so i didnt know but they assured me is not a problem .

I'm glad you posted this Bcus my monthly reminder will be down the day of my surgery as well. I suffer with bad cramps as well. Wondering what to take or wait it out. But hopefully it won't be as bad
