Dealing with horrible crazy heartburn today! Anyone else have this problem? Found anything that helps?

Are you on a PPI? If not - ask your Dr to prescribe one. Feel better soon!
Yes, I take a PPI each morning. This is the first heartburn I've had since surgery. It kind of caught me by surprise!
Do you associate it with something you drank/ate? Might be worth a call to your Dr to see what they say.
I tried to go without my shake this morning as they've been making me sick. So, maybe the lack milk in my tummy? Otherwise, who knows.

On my list I don't have much. I'm getting chicken/beef broth, cream of Tomato Soup and sugar free Jello. I hear Jello is a real success. I'm only shopping for the liquid diet

I heard to use Campbell's chicken noodle Soup and strain out the noodles and bits of chicken. Tastes much better than the chicken broth.

Bathroom works surprisingly well here.

I feel some slight tummy ache in the mornings. Goes away when I drink or eat something. Will have to ask about this next week.

I was very close to going to the ER today. But i remembered my nausea pills... i took that and i felt better. The loose bowels have stopped. I've been good for the past 8 hours. I did take in a popsicle but it made me more nauseous. I've just been sipping all day. Tiny sips, but i know i get in at least 32 oz. My urine still looks good.

I went to urgent care on Friday and the doctor there gave me a weird diet to follow. Knowing i have just had the bypass she told me to go ahead and eat a whole bunch of things I'm not supposed to eat yet. So, i come to realize they can't really help me. The worst time to get sick is during the weekend. Sigh. I can't wait for my doctor to call me tomorrow..

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
