What can we do about losing our hair.... Besides Protein protein... Not much. My hairstylist turned me on to this ... Not only does it cover gray, but it camouflages Hair loss spots

I haven't seen this product or others where fibers are put on the scalp. Both leave me skeptical, as I've seen neither put into use. It's not clear to me whether you've used the one in the photo. If you have or will, I hope you'll post some close-up pics and your thoughts on the degree of success. I wonder if it makes the scalp look as though it's been painted. My guess is that it may be just good enough if hair loss is barely perceptible, but, when it's even slightly noticeable, the scalp will look as though it's been painted. Same for the Fiber products. It would be great if my expectation is off base.

Biotin up to 10mg (milligrams)=10,000mcg(micrograms) per day and Iron - best choice is Vitron C taken at least 2 hours AFTER you have any Calcium (or even better take your Iron with a dose of beef, chicken or nuts that all have iron). Apparently what I have heard from Drs is that it is all three Biotin, Iron and Protein (of course you should also get your other Vitamins as well, but defeciencies in these are what contribute to much of the hair loss.

I made the BIG mistake of taking 1,000mcg per day of biotin for a long time (that is only 1 mg) and its not enough. It takes about 3 months for your hair to catch up once you start taking the right amount. I am now taking 5mg=5,000mcg every day. The 10mg=10,000mcg is the absolute MOST per day that anyone should ever take.

That does look good. Very good.

Does the particular brand have to be applied daily? If shampooing washes it out, I'd have to apply daily. I've lost a little more than you have, but I'd be willing to experiment based on your photos. My hairdresser moved my par, which made a nice difference. I start out each day with the new position, but most days my hair manages to re-part itself when I'm not watching.

Thanks for the tip! I haven't lost much hair, but in the past year it's started to grow in so much darker. I'm a natural blonde but now have brown roots, so I might look to see if that spray comes in a color that matches my hair. I've been reluctant to dye it because I'm nervous it could cause damage.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
