Mine is June 22nd. Up until last week I was set on the sleeve but due to my EGD it may be changed to bypass. I have my pre-op Thursday and will make a decision then. Trying to avoid getting the sleeve and then having to have a revision due to acid reflux later.

Trying to hold on to all the reasons i decided this. Like being able to get on the floor with my granddaughter and get up again. Climbing the Great Wall of China with my kids. Gardening. Walking again. ..working out without joint pain and high blood pressure. ..yet afraid.

@@Anilyn where in Ontario are you? I'm in Ottawa. I started my Optifast this past Monday and I've lost almost ten pounds. I can't recommend decaf instant coffee highly enough to flavour your shakes! It really helps mask the flavour and smell.
