I'm on week 3 myself, and I too choose not to step on the scale except at follow up appointments. The reason being is I know I would compare myself to others, and if I wasn't loosing as quickly I'd be depressed, and I also heard about the stalls and I just didn't want to put that added stress on myself early on in my journey.

Starting weight was 240 , day of op (on 3/28) I was 233, a week and a half ago i was 218 for nearly 2 weeks, and this morning the scale went down to 217. I have been struggling with the stall too. These forums have helped me sooooo much in letting me know it is normal, and to just keep on doing what your doing, and eventually your body will catch up. The worst thing to do is get discouraged, try to stay positive! Positivity is a lifesaver.
