I am almost 4 months post sleeve. For the last 3 days I have been exhausted, I just want to close my eyes and take a nap during work (can't really do that) . Has anyone experienced this? My sleep during the night has not changed I get a good 7-8 hours sleep in but have a very hard time getting up in the morning these past few days. I take my Vitamins everyday never miss a day. I do work out every day and try to push it just a little bit more each time. I see the doc next week, just checking if anybody else experienced this.

Are you taking B12 in a liquid or sublingual form? Off the top of my head, my thoughts are not enough Protein, not enough calories, low B12, or low Iron. But it's good that you are getting it checked out with your doc. They can do blood work and see if it's due to any sort of deficiency.

Omg my B12 !! I bet that is what it is.. I used to go and have to have the series of shots cuz it was always low, but that was almost a year ago . I totally forgot about that, I only take the multi Vitamin cuz that is what the doctor said is all I needed till I get my blood work done . I get my blood work done on Friday and see the doc next week.. Thank you!!

My initial thought would be B12 or Iron deficiency can also wipe you out

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
