Sleeve March 31st. Nervous as hell. Not sure how to deal with the emotional eating. Any advice would appreciated!

Not enough room left in stomach to be too emotional of an eater. Gives you plenty of time to refocus your emotions if you listen to your body.

March 22.

Been working on this since last July. I was all set to submit everything to our insurance and found out we were moving back to the US. Feel fortunate that there was a clinic that would take what I had already completed and submit to insurance.

Exploring methods of support to stay on track after the surgery.

Hi all, my date is the March, 28th. After six plus months of supervised diet, my insurance has approved. I am excited and apprehensive at the same time.

I am interested in both the secret and the closed (but not secret) Facebook groups. Will someone please send me an invite to the secret one. My facebook is facebook.com/ramblindad. Thank you.

Hello everyone im finally post op March 16 & wanted to give my March Sleevers some support. The surgery wasnt to bad honestly , hurt alot less than a c section (i had 3). My back hurt the first night, the incisions hurt like a mini cut not to bad.. the gas is the pain, so walk it off. Ask for gas relief medicine or bring Gas X strips..wear loose clothes.. other than that be strong and positive.. good luck my March Sleevers

I'm set for March 31st. Started my liquid diet yesterday and so far, so good. My plan calls for 6 packets of Carnation Instant Breakfast No Sugar Added and unlimited broth, sf Jello and sf Popsicle. I feel like I'm constantly putting something in my tummy.

Surgery went well on March 7. The healing process is going along. Today for some reason or another, I experienced dumping syndrome. Thinking maybe due to drinking my Protein shake too fast. Wasn't a good feeling, only last for about 45 minutes.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
