If I wasn't walking I was sleeping. I was falling asleep sitting up. Well I thought I was superwoman and because I felt good, I didn't ask for more pain meds. Not a good idea. Now I'm so sore and it feels like the pain medicine they gave me just didn't cut it.

I'm up and walking a lot also. Very little pain. I have queball that has a catheter into my upper abdomen. Tylenol an toradol by IV, it's doing its job very well. I'm going home Tuesday after noon. I feel pretty good!

What pain med did you guys get? They just switched me to an ultra concentrated Oxycodone and it's absolutely disgusting!

I was given the same but haven't taken any yet. I will have the qball on Thursday. Also suggested Tylenol.

How is everyone doing? On my way home from the hospital and opting to not fill my pain med. It made me extremely nauseous this morning. Now we're going to relax all adenoma and watch ABC Family's 25 Days of Christmas. :)

I filled both prescriptions, pain and nausea, but haven't used either one. Took Tylenol this morning and otherwise feeling great. I've not been nauseous or in much pain. Counting myself very lucky!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
