I liked Progresso or Amy's. Campbell's has too many additives for my taste. I also make Soup and freeze in single servings.

Hubby and I make Soup at home, just basic ones like Tomato, chicken and butternut squash and I freeze it in meal sized containers. Then if he fancies something I don't, I can have soup. I tend to have a lot of soup over the winter so its all okay by me :)

I love making my own Soup. one of my favorites is broccoli and cauliflower soup

boil some florets in chicken broth until they are tender, then puree it until smooth, salt and pepper to taste (I add a dash of hot sauce too)

My favorite soup from a restaurant is the tortilla soup from On the Border.

During my liquid phase, I used the IMAGINE brand Soups. They are sold at Whole Foods and Sprouts in SoCal. Some were low sodium and so yummy!

You can spruce up chicken broth with some curry powder or some Italian seasoning...makes it taste less like canned Soup.< /p>

Now do you guys eat the veggies in the Soups? I know not the meats even though I am allowed so chicken

During liquid stage I Puréed and strained soups. During pureed Stage I pureed them but didn't strain. Soft food stage I just ate the Soup as it came. I added unflavored Protein powder to every soup at every stage.

Lobster bisque, broccoli cheese, split pea, wonton, hot and sour, clam chowder, beef barley, potato leek, French onion, Thai coconut, cream of asparagus, Mexican tortilla, black bean and kale, southwestern vegetable, bean with ham, etc.

Amy's, Pacific, Imagine and Progresso are my favorite brands.

Sorry, I just cannot handle canned Soups and I really want to know what is going into my food.

It really is worth it to make them from homemade and pop them into the freezer. I cannot tell you how I went from an occasional cup of Soup to eating it at least every other day.

I look up recipes on Pinterest for soup and tweak with what I like or can have.

This week I made Ina Gartens Italian wedding soup with chicken meatballs. Oh my goodness so worth it. You can leave the Pasta out or do what I did and cut the Pasta recipe by half and use whole wheat pasta.

chicken tortilla soup without the tortillas, I just posted this recipe on Lipstick ladies favorite meals

Cauliflower chowder with bacon - recipe on Pinterest

Chicken vegetable

Lasagne soup - I am making this weekend for the first time and using zucchini instead of lasagne noodles. - recipe on Pinterest

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
